DBIT's Colosseum 2014 gets 'fim city' theme - Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Kurla | stupidsid.com
COLOSSEUM 2014 at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kurla
Theme: Colosseum Film City
Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Kurla gave a unique twist to its annual technical festival this year. The theme set for 2014 was ‘film city’. It styled its events around movie plots and the college was given the get-up of a film city. The justification for this was that technology is conventionally seen as boring, nerdy and only in books. However it exists beyond books and exists in the most entertaining fields today. Movies cannot function without technology and it’s in our favour to embrace that fact.

Technical Immigrants (Cause):
Colosseum went a step ahead and thought of giving back to the society with the technology it knows of. Students invited Senior citizens from the local senior citizens clubs and taught them how to use mobile phones with ease. Along with that, they were also introduced to the world of internet.
